Discover Your Destiny: Three Steps to Unlock Your Divine Power

“It’s a strange thing, you have said it thousands of times I am sure… you will never
know what you can do until you try. However the sad truth is that most people
never try anything until they know they can do it.” — Bob Proctor

You have a destiny. A divine, blessing-filled pathway awaits your acceptance. All it requires from you is a decision. But … it has to be a quality decision – a ‘yes’ to moving forward. All the time. Without hesitation.

You see, God never intended you to stay stuck in one place, mentally, physically, or emotionally. He is a God of growth and progression. And you are just like Him – created in His image. So you are supposed to keep learning, expanding your abilities and influence, stepping into greater blessing and abundance.

I received an email from one of my readers not long ago, thanking me for encouraging her during a rough time in her life. It’s in those tough times that we are seriously tempted to quit, to walk away, to give up. You say to yourself, “I can’t” or “It’s just not worth it”. But … you’re wrong.

You don’t know what is on the other side of the challenge – increasing peace, joy, blessing and abundance. And it’s not just for you. It’s for everyone in your circle of influence. God told Abram (Abraham), “I will bless you so you can BE a blessing!” (Gen. 12:1-3)

So, when you feel stuck, mired in a life that seems like a dead-end, it’s time to mentally regroup. You need to remind yourself – out loud if necessary – that you are capable, that YOU CAN learn, become and accomplish anything. All you need to do is DECIDE to change.

Here are three “steps” to encourage you on your way to greatness.

STEP OUT:
The unknown, the new, the untried is always intimidating. You’re not sure if you can. You question your own abilities and talents. Yet, you can accomplish so much more than your present experience allows. Just the act of trying will open new doors and present new opportunities and answers.

Your first steps will signal your subconscious (your connection to Infinite Mind) that you’re serious. You will begin to draw solutions toward you, just by stepping out.

STEP UP:
No one ever hit a home run without first stepping up to the plate … and swinging. Face new challenges with courage and determination. Life is mobile. It’s not meant to be lived at the same level for a lifetime. Step up to new opportunities for personal and professional growth. It’s no coincidence that it’s called the “ladder” of success.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Sky Deck in Chicago – 103 floors above the city in the former Sears Tower (it’s been renamed, but I don’t remember what). I have to admit that I don’t like heights, and my family was betting that I wouldn’t even go up in the elevator!

I made up my mind (see the process?) that I was going to do it just to prove them wrong. Not only did I ride up, I took a deep breath, looked directly ahead and stepped out on that plexiglass platform. I paused a moment, and looked down. It was amazing – an experience I’ll never forget. All because I was willing to step up (face the fear) and step out.

You can do the same. Step up and start climbing. Only you set the limits on how high you will go.

STEP INTO:
When you were a kid, did you ever step into your dad’s boots or your mom’s dress shoes? How did it make you feel?

Big?

Powerful?

Able to do anything?

Did you pretend to be grown-up, ready to take on the world?

Every person on earth is here for a reason. You have a personal mission, a destiny, a contribution to make that blesses others as well as yourself.

God has placed no limitations on you. Only you have done that. In fact, the possibilities before you are as limitless as He is. What matters most? Hanging onto your fears and hesitations or stepping into a life of unfolding blessing and abundance? Isn’t it time to step forward into your destiny?
