The Value of Laughter

Even if there is nothing to laugh about, laugh on credit. ~ Author Unknown

As I write this, it’s Monday – and a crazy Monday it’s been! It seemed like people and problems all showed up all at once.

The temptation to scream and run the other direction was strong. What else could possible happen?

Instead my assistant and I just started laughing! It was hysterical. And by the time we were done, everything was OK again. (Remember the verse, the joy of the Lord is our strength?)

Milton Berle said “Laughter is an instant vacation.” And it’s true. Laughter defuses every situation. It brought all the seeming problems into perspective, and the rest of the day went much better!

Thoughts and words are important, but laughter is necessary, also. It can relieve the pressure and give you the moments you need to regain your balance and focus.

So … what’s funny in your life? Share a comment. I’d love to hear from you.

May your week be peaceful, joyful and blessed.
