Don’t let frustration ruin a perfectly good day!

“For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

I so relate to the Israelites this week!

They spent 40 years wandering in the desert – murmuring, grumbling and complaining.

Monday was like that. It was just one thing after another. And my attitude tanked. I admit it. The worst part is, I know better. I really do! Yet, I let frustration and anger run (ruin) my day.

Funny part was – in talking to several friends, they had the same ‘bad day’ yesterday.

Was it something in the air?

Nope, just the devil playing head games.

BUT, only if we let him! Problem is – we forget too easily that we really do have control. The rest of my week is going much better after I recognized what I was – essentially – doing to myself! Hope you had a better Monday than I did!
