Your True Secret to Success

“Just don’t give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there’s love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong.”  ~ Ella Fitzgerald

I went to the store a few days ago. Simple, right? Not.

First, I needed my purse and wallet. I needed a list of errands and a plan of order. I needed a garage door opener and the car key. I needed my coupons and shopping list. I needed the store card for the clerk to scan, and a pin number for the debit card.  Gasoline required another card, and … oops,

almost forgot a birthday gift,  so I needed that store’s card, too. A deposit ticket at the bank, stamps at the post office,  a check for the insurance company,  and … on it goes.

If a simple trip to town can be that complex, do we really think Life or Success can be solved with just one key? Or lived without planning?

Yes, you need goals. But you also need skills, determination, patience, and persistence.

You need to understand the Law of Attraction and the concept of sowing and reaping.

You’ll need direction and courage. Hopefully, you’ll find a mentor or coach to offer one and encourage the other.

It seems like a lot … maybe more than you think you can master.

But here’s the real key … You need to believe in yourself.

You can learn the skills. You can develop the talents. You can recover from failures and try again.

You can channel your thinking to look for solutions. You can give and share of yourself with hope of reward.

But you won’t do any of those things if you don’t believe in yourself first.

Believe you are worthy. Believe you are smart. Believe that you are connected to a Higher Power for direction and wisdom.

So, if you’re looking for a simple solution, that’s it. Trust that God has a good plan for you, and that you have been designed for that plan. Believe in yourself.

Be grateful for the combination of talents, desires, likes and dislikes that make you unique … a special gift to the world around you. Then be brave enough to explore your gifts to see where they lead.

YOU are the key to your success.
